Jan. 8--TWIN FALLS -- Take a good look in the mirror. Notice your hair. Now say goodbye. Chances are that 20 years from now, that mane will be a lot thinner, if not gone altogether. Everyone's hair thins with age, and for some people, it falls out. And it's not just men affected by hair loss: The American Hair Loss Association says that 40 percent of Americans losing their hair are women. Hair loss usually affects women differently than men. These differences -- how the hair falls out, how hair loss affects a person emotionally, treatment options -- make hair loss for women a bit harder to handle.
