The consolidated' version of the Treaties of the European Union and the European Community, which was recently published in the EU's Official Journal (Europolitics 3220) , contains a serious mistake. In the annex detailing the institutional consequences of the accession of Romania and Bulgaria, it states that there are 736 MEPs at the European Parliament (while in reality they number 785), thereby forgetting' the Romanian and Bulgarian MEPs between 2007 and 2009.
