Palm OS lives
Palm's Treo 680 smartphone uses Palm OS, the latest version of the operating system developed for the original Palms. The company release a Windows-powered Treo 750v earlier this year.
The [pounds sterling]299 680 supports email, web browsing and messaging, plus mobile phone functionality.
Palm OS is owned by Japanese company Access Co, which bought Palm spin-off Palmsoft in 2005.
