BALTIMORE -- SafeNet, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFNT), setting the standard for information security, today announced the promotion of John W. Frederick, former interim Chief Financial Officer, to Chief Financial Officer.
First joining SafeNet in June 2006 as Vice President and Worldwide Controller, Mr. Frederick was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer in October of 2006. In the role as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Frederick will maintain responsibility for all accounting, finance and treasury functions.
