Jan. 9--The historic Westward Look Resort in northwest Tucson has been sold for $31 million to San Diego-based American Property Management Corp.
The purchase of the 244-room resort, at 245 E. Ina Road, was announced Monday by Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, a hotel investment services firm, on behalf of former owners Boutique Hotel Co. -- Westward Look LLC.
Citing Tucson's $2.5 billion tourism industry and the region's hotel occupancy rates hovering around 70 percent, American Property Management officials said in a press release the resort was a good buy.
