EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
THE 25 properties with the highest assessed value in L.A. County had an aggregate value of $17.5 billion in 2006, up $21.2 million over the previous year.
The J. Paul Getty Center returned to the top spot as the highest assessed property in the county. The property is nearly 100 percent exempt from property taxes, with just the commercial areas, such as its restaurants, taxable land.
