Nomar doesn't need a tissue box, so why should you?
Making the All-Star team is not exactly high on the list of Nomar Garciaparra priorities. ``I really don't care,'' he insists. ``It doesn't bother me at all.''
Now if Player X or Player Y were to say that, it would definitely be eye-rolling time. Most players care very much, even if they pretend otherwise. Most players can quickly switch from being something resembling a regular guy to what we can refer to as their Act. Not Nomar.
``Nomar doesn't have an Act,'' says Jim Corsi. ``He's just a regular schmoe.''
I'm not sure regular schmoes play a four-star ...
