In another month, the great New York Democratic primary shootout will occur to determine who will be given the privilege of getting slaughtered by George Pataki in November and who will take on the amazingly resilient U.S. Sen. Alfonse M. D'Amato.
A couple of prominent citizens from Whoville will no doubt limp away the winners and proceed to do what is expected in the general election. Which, at the current rate, isn't much. A pathetic state of affairs for the numerically dominant political party in New York. How long will this drought last? Who can save the Democratic Party in New York
