A cold and wet spring that delayed planting and the loss of a major corporate donor have failed to dampen the spirits of urban gardening enthusiasts involved with Capital District Community Gardens Inc. of Troy as it enters its 25th year.
The group operates 12 gardens in Troy, one in Latham and one in Rensselaer. A new plot at the North Greenbush technology park will be cultivated for the first time this spring.
