SCHENECTADY -- A notice of claim has been filed with the city by attorneys for the family of Thomas B. Frank, who was killed in a January mudslide at the Tel Oil Co. service station.
Frank, 42, of Amsterdam, the father of five young children, was killed Jan. 19 when an embankment behind the Broadway station collapsed during a severe rainstorm while he was gassing up a van belonging to his Schenectady employer, Dick's Glass Co.
Michael T. Brockbank, the city's chief attorney, said notices of claim for legal actions against the city must be filed within 90 days of an incident. He said claimants have one year from ...
