TROY -- Of all the instruments enhanced by the warm analytic acoustics of Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, the one that benefits the most is the human voice -- particularly a choir and even more pointedly a large chorus.
The choral director Sir David Willcocks brought his volunteer, 120-voice Bach Choir to the music hall on Thursday to make its Capital Region debut. The choir is currently on a week-long tour that began with concerts in Norwalk, Conn., and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City and ends tonight in the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
