Article: GASOLINE STATION OWNER FILES $800,000 CLAIM AGAINST SCHENECTADY IN MUDSLIDE.(CAPITAL REGION)

SCHENECTADY -- The owner of the Tel Oil Co. service station hit with a mudslide in January filed a notice of claim Thursday at City Hall seeking $800,000 in damages from the city, the Urban Renewal Agency and the Municipal Housing Authority.

Corporation Counsel Michael T. Brockbank said also Thursday the All State Insurance Co. filed a notice of claim for $24,295 in connection with the collapse of the embankment behind the Broadway service station.

Thomas B. Frank, a general service employee for Dick's Glass Co., was killed in the Broadway incident while he was gassing up a company van.
