Most of the assets of Cleveland Metal Products Co., a producer of steel stampings in the Flats, were sold last week to EWI Inc. in Salem, Ohio.
The business's former owner, Aarque Management Corp. in Jamestown, N.Y., has retained the stamping company's plant and real estate at 2019 Center St., according to Aarque president Wilbur Berner.
Aarque has plans for the Flats property, Mr. Berner said.
"We'd like to market the real estate," he said. "It's riverfront property and it should have commercial value."
