The Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) has announced details of JISC Collections, a mutual trading company that will license online resources for education bodies and research councils.
All colleges and universities in the UK are members of the company, which was set up in September to increase JISC's clout when negotiating with online publishers on behalf of the higher education sector.
