The price of the ACR GlobalFix GPS Enabled 406 MHz EPIRB has been reduced to $995.00 (RRP) including GST. This makes it now much more affordable to have a fast and accurate EPIRB that will reduce search radius to as little as 100 metres instead of around two nautical miles for conventional 406 MHz EPIRBs. Previously retailing for $1925 (RRP) this represents a substantial price reduction for enhanced offshore safety.
