South Yorkshire food and drink companies are celebrating a wealth of new contracts thanks to a financial boost from the massive Objective I project. The funding was allocated through the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humber (RFGYH), which exists to support food and drink businesses in the area.
The Objective 1 Programme in South Yorkshire is a 2.1 billion [pounds sterling] investment project that includes more than 730 million [pounds sterling] from the European Union's Structural Fund budget, as well as public and private sector resources.
