The owner of several area auto- parts stores has added a family-owned store in Guilderland to his stable.

Michael Battaglia bought Robinson Auto Parts on Western Avenue from Gary Robinson for an undisclosed price. The store's new name is C&M Discount Auto Parts.

Battaglia has been affiliated with the Robinson family for many years. As owner of E.V. Hoit Corp., an auto parts warehouse on Bradford Street in Albany, Battaglia used to stock the Robinson's store.

``I put the family in the auto parts business,'' Battaglia said.
