DEAR HELOISE: I'm hoping you can help me. I love to make angel food cake. It takes a dozen egg whites. Other than egg noodles, do you know of any other recipes that use EGG YOLKS?
Our neighbors are getting tired of homemade noodles. I read your column in the Omaha World-Herald, and every day I have enjoyed using your many good hints over the years. -- D. Meyer, Waverly, Neb. DEAR D. MEYER: How about boiling them? Yep, you can boil egg yolks the same way you do a whole egg. Just gently slide the yolks into water and boil them for about eight to 10 minutes or until done.
When cooked, dip them out and put them in a covered container or sealable plastic bag ...
