It wasn't long ago that Mark Valvo would go home to Buffalo at the end of every summer, trying to convince his skeptical friends that Arena Football was truly legitimate.
VALVO``They'd say, `What the heck is Arena Football,' '' Valvo recalled. ``I'd try to tell them about the people and the music and the great players. And they'd say, `Whatever, buddy. It sounds like a nice semi-pro league.' ''
