Article: DAMAGE FROM STORE'S FIRE STILL SMOLDERS.(CAPITAL REGION)

Byline: TIM O'BRIEN Staff writer

Two weeks after a fire tore through Price Chopper's Troy Plaza store, the ashes are still unsettled.

The blaze shortly after midnight Oct. 30 is still haunting the store, where repairs are more extensive than originally thought.

The neighboring clothing outlet -- Label Shopper -- is fully stocked with new clothes, new ceiling tiles and new carpeting but it is still awaiting the return of some old customers.

Even the origin of the fire is still unsettled, although it is believed to have been an electrical fire.
