Madonna won the right to use the Web address madonna.com after an international arbitration panel in Geneva, Switzerland, ruled that a pornographer had improperly registered the site to trade off the pop star's name.

The three-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization unanimously ordered that Madonna take over the site from New Jersey pornography entrepreneur Dan Parisi. The panel found that Parisi ``lacks rights or legitimate interests in the domain name'' and that the name ``has been registered and used in bad faith.''
