With that business out of the way, let us address why the New York Mets telecast Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Brewers wasn't on Fox Sports New York.
Yes, it was listed for that network in the Times Union, which is why we include the above notice. FoxNY moved a New Jersey Devils playoff game into that time slot, and we got informed too late to alter the listings.
The situation might have been acceptable had the Devils game actually been on FoxNY in the Capital Region, but NHL rules -- which designate this as Buffalo territory -- required the game ...
