Sand LakeOne day, probably sooner than later, those who played basketball for the Averill Park High School boys team, will remember what transpired this winter.

They will remember the 19 victories against just two losses. They will remember winning the Colonial Council regular season championship for the fourth consecutive year. Right now, they don't want to do that. The Warriors are still nursing the wounds of having their season end.

Averill Park saw its impressive season end on Feb. 26 when the Warriors were eliminated by Colonie 59-50 in the Section II Class A quarterfinals.
