Jan. 13--Robert McCord has spent much of his life digging up the Arizona Ice Age. He said it shouldn't surprise fellow desert dwellers that even 15,000 to 2.4 million years ago, Arizona was warmer than other parts of the continent. Visitors to the museum will be introduced to that paradise Jan. 27 with a new display called "Paradise Lost: Arizona South of the Ice."
