NEW ENGLAND used to be an easy team to call - they would win thanks to Tom Brady's smart passing and a crushing and clever defence orchestrated by guru like head coach Bill Belichick.
That template brought them three Super Bowls, but things haven't always gone to plan this season. Sure, they're in the last eight of the play-offs again, which makes them a danger to all, but there have been mediocre shows that never used to happen.
With 141 points scored in their last four games it might all look sweetness and light again, but ...
