Within moments of arriving, I found exactly what I was looking for: The place where locals go out for breakfast on the main drag in historic downtown Seneca Falls.
It was 8:45 a.m. on a recent Saturday morning, the snow was starting to come down, and I'd only had one cup of coffee, three hours ago near Albany. All of which made the inviting aromas of bacon and eggs frying on the flat grill behind the counter and the friendly suggestion of ``Sit anywhere you want, honey, I'll bring you some coffee,'' that much sweeter.
