WASHINGTON -- Peter Waddell has an explanation for how he pilots a priceless 83-year-old luxury car through the fender-bending streets of Washington -- and keeps from turning into a nervous puddle on the seat.
``It's like doing meditation,'' said Waddell, 47. ``Whatever you were thinking or doing before being in the car, you forget about, because you can't focus on anything but the car. I always feel better after driving it.''
The car he drives is a 1919 Pierce-Arrow roadster, the only gasoline-fueled artifact at Tudor Place, a historic house museum in Georgetown. It's an anomaly in a collection that leans ...
