SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Skidmore College's art exhibit, ``From Pop to Now: Selections from the Sonnabend Collection,'' has received a $50,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation.
The exhibition, from the private collection of gallery owners Ileana and Michael Sonnabend, is housed at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at the college. It features artists such as Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons.
The grant funds will be used as an underwriting cost to run the exhibit, from shipping to mounting the works of art, said Bob Kimmerle, director of college relations at Skidmore.
