CONTRACTS Green Island Construction Co. Inc. in Glenmont was the apparent low bidder at $8.46 million to rehabilitate routes 12 and 28 in the towns of Trenton, Remsen, Steuben and Boonville and the village of Remsen, all in Oneida County. The state Department of Transportation received five bids on the project, which also includes rehabilitation of two bridges. The project is slated for completed by July 31, 2003.
DONATIONS M&T Bank donated $10,000 to the capital campaign of Equinox Inc., a 30-year-old nonprofit social services agency, for renovation of facilities and expansion of services for Equinox clients.
