Jan. 14--The St. Joseph Lady Flyers were looking for a confidence boost going into TAPPS District 3-5A play and that's what they got Saturday in a 76-44 win over the San Antonio St. Anthony Lady Yellowjackets.
One area in particular for the Lady Flyers (14-10, 1-0) where confidence has been a problem was their outside shooting. Heather Bryan gave the team that confidence early when she drained a 3-pointer for the first basket of the game on her way to a 15-point performance. From there the team went on to have their highest scoring game of the season.
