A television warm-up.
With local temperatures hovering around zero and snow on the ground, even duffers who hook tee shots 75 yards into trees could appreciate the TV sunshine, courtesy of the Golf Channel.
The channel, gradually coming of age as a valuable sports outlet, was in Honolulu on Thursday through Sunday providing coverage of the Sony Open.
The highlight occurred Friday during bonus coverage when 16-year-old Tadd Fujikawa became the youngest player in 50 years to make the cut on the PGA Tour.
