PALM DESERT, CALIF. -- Dermal fillers available for cosmetic use number more than 60 in Europe, and several of those products may soon be available in the United States, Dr. Rhoda S. Narins said at the annual meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Food and Drug Administration approvals of these products will expand the cornucopia of options for wrinkle correction and allow dermatologists to better tailor their procedures, said Dr. Narins of White Plains, N.Y., whose comments were echoed by other speakers at the presentation.
