I have a 2004 twin-console Polar Kraft Kodiak V178 with a Mercury 115 OptiMax that is turning a 13x19-inch SS prop and sitting on the transom. There is 1/4-inch between the bottom of the anticavitation plate and the bottom of the hull as checked with a straight edge. In other than dead calm water, the boat wants to porpoise as I throttle up. Trimming in helps to settle her down, but she starts again as I try to trim out. Any suggestions?
