Warren Beatty was chosen as the 2007 recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn.'s Cecil B. DeMille Award, presented during the Jan. 15 Golden Globes telecast.
In past years, Beatty has received five Golden Globe Awards, including Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) for Heaven Can Wait and Best Director for Reds . As a producer, he received the Golden Globe for Best Picture (Drama) for Bugsy and Best Picture (Comedy or Musical) for Heaven Can Wait . And he was chosen to receive the Golden Globe for Most Promising Newcomer in 1962.
