LOS ANGELES -- Albert Nozaki, an Academy Award-nominated art director whose credits include the epic ``The 10 Commandments'' and the science-fiction classic ``The War of the Worlds,'' has died. He was 91.
Nozaki, whose nearly four-decade career at Paramount Pictures was interrupted by his relocation to the Manzanar internment camp during World War II, died of complications of pneumonia on Nov. 16 in a hospital in Los Angeles.
``He was one of the last great studio-system art directors,'' Eric Warren, an art director, told the Los Angeles Times this week.
