COLONIE -- Weller Martin is a foul-mouthed old coot. Fonsia Dorsey doesn't curse quite like Weller, but she's not exactly a biddy, either.
Both have spent the better part of their lives being bitter and distant -- a fact that haunts them as they wait alone on visitors day at the Bentley retirement home.
One afternoon, Fonsia finds herself on the back porch of Bentley, with Weller saying hello and asking her to sit down for a game of cards.
So begins D.L. Coburn's ``The Gin Game.''
