Jan. 17--WILLIAMSBURG -- Planning Commissioners will consider today a recommendation to shave about a month off Williamsburg's review process for some redevelopment proposals. There are two kinds of site plans city staff receives for approval. One kind needs special-use permits because they deviate from zoning. The others don't need special permits because the proposed changes are considered allowed already "by right" under the property's current zoning.
