Jan. 18--MOULTON -- High finishes in other competitions contributed to Lauren Miles' confidence that she could produce this year's grand champion steer at the 2007 Moulton Jr. Livestock Show. Lauren, who is a junior at Moulton High School, has been showing steers for three years. Before that she showed broilers for two years. "This is my first grand champion," she said. "Last year, I was third in my class in Houston, and that was a big confidence builder. I also won last year's Moulton showmanship award.
