MENANDS - Steve Fredette can sense something big is happening.
The longtime telecommunications industry executive and general manager for TAG Solutions LLC, a Menands-based company that helps businesses design and implement telecom systems, believes the industry is moving toward voice over Internet protocol - otherwise known as VoIP - in a big way.
"Most businesses are looking at it," Fredette said. "We're in a very exciting time right now in the industry. The next four to five years is going to be when the sea change happens."
