NEW YORK - The animation was there again, the fire the Yankees remember seeing from across the diamond or on television when Randy Johnson was dominating. There was anger, aggression, barking, even a mini-confrontation with his own catcher on Thursday night as Johnson bloomed into the intimidator the Yankees believed they were getting last winter.
In a 6-1 victory over the Pirates, Johnson threw a five-hit complete game and made the atmosphere at Yankee Stadium electric with three first-inning strikeouts. He whiffed a season-high 11, the 205th time he has struck out 10 ...
