BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - Union College's offensive free-for-all of sorts in Saturday night's 6-5 victory over Ferris State gave the Dutchmen a 2-0 sweep over the host Bulldogs.
Union scored three second-period power-play goals after Ferris was whistled for a five-minute major.
"I thought it was a better hockey game tonight," said coach Nate Leaman, whose team beat Ferris 2-0 Friday in both teams' season opener. "It was up-and-down the ice. This early in the season, both teams made key mistakes. But we were able to capitalize."
