BALLSTON SPA - The game couldn't have started much worse for Ballston Spa, not after Colonie's Heath Furbeck scooped up the opening kickoff near the goal line and ran 99 yards for a touchdown.
Fortunately for the Scotties, that special teams blunder was one of the few mistakes they made Friday night.
Ballston Spa converted nearly all of its third- and fourth-down attempts, made crucial defensive stops and was an offensive juggernaut, playing what coach John Bowen called its first complete game of the season and defeating Colonie 31-14 in a Class AA Division II ...
