Information security software vendor, Kaspersky Lab, has identified a series of new variants of the Warezov email worm. The new variants started appearing on 15 January 2007 at 12.05pm and there have been mass-mailings of successive variants since then.
The worm spreads via a ZIP, DOC.EXE TXT.EXE attachment to email messages, that doesn't contain a copy of the worm but a Trojan that downloads the latest version of the worm from one of a number of websites. Once downloaded, the worm copies itself to ...
