FARNBOROUGH, England, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonnell Douglas has introduced the GRAND SLAM missile, a long-range, precision-strike weapon system, as the McDonnell Douglas entry in the United Kingdom's Conventionally Armed Standoff Missile (CASOM) competition.
The introduction was made at the 1994 Farnborough Air Show by Michael Heinz, vice president-general manager of Harpoon/SLAM programs at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace.
