TROY - A Ballston Spa woman who told police she grabbed the hands of a 78-year-old man just before he was stabbed to death in January was charged with his murder on Friday.
Julie Rockwell, 32, said she tried to help rob Don Dougrey inside his apartment at 507 Grand St. on Jan. 11, according to her police statement. The victim's neighbor, Jason "Murder" Jones - who was arrested in connection with the murder last month - then plunged a knife into his neck at least twice, she said.
