We called the Parting Glass last Thursday to see what it had planned for the next day, St. Patrick's Day. We were curious because my companion's mother wanted to go somewhere for corned beef and cabbage.
The Parting Glass, the popular Irish pub in Saratoga Springs, had big doings planned. We were told it wouldn't serve food after 3 p.m. except at a buffet in a tent, but that the buffet would include corned beef and cabbage "until we run out." It would provide live music starting at noon and concluding at night with pub favorites the McKrells.
