LIME ROCK, Conn., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The New World Power Corporation (Nasdaq-NNM: NWPC) announced today that its New World Village Power unit has agreed to exclusive terms with Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX) for the joint development of a wind/diesel power project on St. Paul Island, Alaska.  Based in St. Paul, TDX Corporation is the island's major landholder. 
The project will either power the TDX and its industrial leaseholder's 2 megawatt (MW) electric load, or a 4 MW combination of TDX interests and the city of St. Paul's municipal utility, pending engineering review and further negotiations.
