Melchers is establishing a flavor manufacturing plant in Cincinnati, Ohio. The facility will include a new flavor development laboratory which will be linked to analytical, sensory, and product application laboratories. The opening of the 10,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant is scheduled for Fall of 1994. The property encloses an area of 95,000 square feet, leaving room for expansion.
Melchers' flavor division will now operate as a separate incorporated enterprise, MFA, which stands for Melchers Flavor of America Inc.
