China moves to censor prime-time TV series
Shanghai. January 23. INTERFAX-CHINA - China will increase the censorship of prime-time TV series in the coming months, according to a directive issued by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) on January 20.
A senior official at SARFT revealed that a "four-stage censorship" plan would begin in February and last for eight months, according to local media reports.
