MADISON, N.J., Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth , announced today that the Company has received an approvable letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Pristiq(TM) (desvenlafaxine succinate), a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) studied as a treatment for adult patients with major depressive disorder (MDD). The letter was received January 22.
